After drooling over the pictures on yelp, I decided to stop in with my friend after a few hours at the Encore hotel. Located in the plaza right next to the Encore next to a souvenir shop, it can be easy to miss if you're driving too fast.
The place is small with just a few tables inside and outside. It's a casual spot where you order at the register and grab a seat where you can. They bring your order to you.
I ordered the tostabirria, quesabirria, and consome con carne. The food came out fresh and piping hot. The employees are friendly.
The beef was tender and flavorful. The tacos tasted good dipped in the consome and the consome was good to just eat by itself.
Although the tacos are small, they're quite filling. Topped with cilantro and onion, they're pretty simple. They offer a salsa on the tables that was pretty spicy so I ate my meal just the way it came.
I would definitely return here when craving some birria or on the north end of the strip. -

We SEARCHED for this place in Las Vegas. It was a little difficult to find even with google maps. Once we arrived we stood in line for about 30-45 minutes. We know its a new spot but it is Birrieria. Like what could possibly go wrong? First things first. the shells are amazing. Great crunch, nice flavor, love the texture. The cheese? Great amount of cheese and I am a cheese lover.
Unfortunately; the meat was a lacking flavor. For us to get the dip to put it in, we were severely disappointed. Not to mention, they completely forgot my friend's order. I truly wish that next time around when they slow cook the meat, they add a little flavor to it. It shouldn't JUST be the meat sauce. It should have a little extra umph to it. I am happy I went, don't see myself going again. -

Tried Birrieria tacos for the first time and it was amazing! Lots of flavor and the consomé adds such a great touch!
Very authentic and very delicious!
The food took longer than I expected for it to be served but they seemed short staffed, so that's the only reason why I left 4 starts. Food quality is with 5. I definitely recommend checking this place out if you love Birrieria!!
They had indoor and outdoor seating. -

Small hole in the wall spot in the main strip. I came across this gem while heading to tacos el gordo. I despides to stop by and try their birria. Hands down its top 3 I've had. What was surprising is their shrimp coctel. I wasn't expecting a birria place to sell seafood. And honestly it was so good I came back the next morning for seconds. Since they make the sauce right on the spot it didn't taste the same as the first time. But still delicious. Only downside was the prices. Expendiste for the amount of food you get despite having in mind that's down the strip

The good news is the beef tastes pretty good. The tacos I had were enjoyable but the deep fried one, another story, way too hard of a shell that felt like it was going to break my teeth.
Service is friendly and I'd almost bump them a star up just for that. But I think I'd rather go to Tacos El Gordo unless the line is super long there, as it was tonight.
